DIY: Galactic Pants

ok, so i've been working on this project but it didn't turn out as i expected. i found pictures on how to make the "galactic print" and tried it on my faded skinny black jeans. so here are the pictures i found on the net on making the galactic print.

 it looked quite easy, but believe me, things get messy! my wooden flors are pretty screwed up right now! well, the pictures say it all, so i won't explain the process again. so this is what i had at first:

when i washed them like it said in the pictures, almost all of the paint i used got out. i think it was something about the fabric i used...
