DIY: UK Flag Converses

for the last week or so i've been trying to rotate my old pair of converses back to life :) i bought them over 4 years ago and they were pretty f*cked up :) unfortunately, i forgot to took photos before starting to work on them. but believe me, they looked like clown shoes.

i had them covered with acrylic paint of all colours and it took 3 hours of me washing them in the sink to get it all out. this was what i was left with. 

so, yeah they look gross. you'll be suprised when you see how they turned out.

i got 4 tubes of fabric paint: 1 red, 1 white, 1 black and 1 blue and ofcourse, paint brushes! with my laptop 1 meters away rocking editors' the back room, i mixed 1 part black and two parts blue and i sat down and painted the outsides first.

after that, i painted the insides white and painted the tongue and back of the shoes the same colour of the outsides.

now: the fun part!!!

well, as you can see, i draw a uk flag with a pencil and started painting it!
